MY TOP TRIED & TESTED HAIR MASKS

NO. 1 Nanoil Keratin Hair Mask

To me it’s the absolute best hair treatment! Nanoil launched the most effective keratin mask I’ve had so far! There’s nothing I could pick on, no drawbacks, maybe except I couldn’t find it at the physical store; now it’s available online only (www.nanoil.us). Let’s get to the nitty-gritty, though. Why do I love this hair mask? Mostly for the effects: just one use was enough to notice more lovely, smoother and super-soft hair! Because it contains hydrolyzed keratin, it’s amazing for repairing and strengthening. The ingredient penetrates the hair shaft to fix damage inside the hair and on its surface.

Keratin is a powerful protein that builds our hair. In this mask it’s boosted by another essential substance. It’s panthenol which boasts beautifying and protective properties. Other things I love the Nanoil Keratin Hair Mask for is a big jar that lasts me long and a great price for top quality! If you’re still wondering if you should try it, stop! It’s heaven for hair. Plus it’s suitable for all types, even thin and delicate strands.

NO. 2 Kevin Murphy Hydrate Me Masque

This product can be called iconic but it’s pricey so you need to decide if it’s worth trying or not. Though I must say it’s one of the best hair masks I’ve had. I love the container – it’s one of its kind. The Kevin Murphy Hydrate Me Masque has great components and abounds in hair-conditioning ingredients, among others, moisturizing and soothing rose oil, softening evening primrose oil, protective and shine-boosting shea butter. It’s enriched with the Kakadu plum extract from North Australia, appreciated for high concentration of vitamin C – it boosts production of elastin and collagen helping keep the hair resilient and shiny. The Kevin Murphy Hydrate Me Masque restores smoothness to very coarse and dry strands. The added seaweed extract moisturizes and clears hair of oil.

NO. 3 Rene Furterer Absolue Keratine Regenerating Mask

As the name suggests, it’s a keratin-rich mask for hair repair. The Rene Furterer Absolue Keratine Regenerating Mask is really cool, perfect for extremely damaged hair. I like it a lot but the price keeps me from buying it. It’s a bit too expensive for such a small volume. At the same time, I must admit the product is exceptional due to the formula: it is free of any animal-derived substances; even keratin is derived from plants. Because it also includes many oils, it’s an emollient and protein type of treatment. It’s an effective hair-conditioning mask which handles super-damaged and very dry strands. The Rene Furterer Absolue Keratine Regenerating Mask helped me revive my crazy-dry hair after summer. I don’t think it’s a good idea to use it on easily weighed-down, low porosity strands. It’s likely to weigh such hair down.

NO. 4 OUAI Thick Hair Treatment

Is your hair thick and heavy? I know this type is rather challenging as far as hair care goes. There are few products that prove suitable. Most cosmetics cause overburdening while such strands need nourishment, conditioning and protection as much as other hair types. The OUAI Thick Hair Treatment is pricier but it also suits thick, low-porosity hair just like Nanoil. Even though it’s a rich formula including two natural butters, almond oil, macadamia oil, olive oil and hydrolyzed keratin, it doesn’t weigh hair down, is easy to rinse out and deeply nourishes. The OUAI Thick Hair Treatment leaves strands shiny, strong and healthy. It’s a cool hair-conditioning hair mask.

NO. 5 Macadamia Deep Repair Masque

It’s a very interesting and affordable emollient treatment which effectively conditions dry, damaged or healthy hair. I like the Macadamia Deep Repair Masque but I’m not a fan of its smell. The great thing is you can get it in various sizes – get the smallest one for a trial. It’s a good mask if you want smoother and softer hair, looking good and damage-free. Obviously, it takes regular use to bring benefits. The Macadamia Deep Repair Masque contains lightweight macadamia oil, plus nourishing and repairing argan oil. To avoid overburdening, they are blended with plant extracts from aloe, seaweeds, etc. If you’re seeking a mild emollient mask, then it’s the bull’s eye!

Which of the 5 is best in your opinion? To me it’s Nanoil Keratin. I have no doubts about that. Have you used any items from my round-up? Have you got a favorite hair mask? Please share it in a comment! Have a lovely day!
