What Beauty Questions Do I Ask Uncle Google?
If it’s not online, it doesn’t exist. Is it true? Of course, not. But, when my beauty products fail and my hairdresser has no idea what do with my hair, I turn to… uncle Google. You just need to ask him about the bothering problem. Let’s check it out!
How to deal with ingrown hair?
Many women struggle with this problem. All you should do is a scrub before every hair removal routine. I use the cheapest drugstore product or DIY scrub – mix sugar, honey and lemon juice. During the treatment, I use a body brush to remove dead cells. Moreover, the brush massage increases blood flow, tightens the skin and removes pigmentation spots. In this way, I get rid of dead skin cells that block hair follicles, ‘trapping’ hair inside the skin. If you also have the same problem, you can try out one more method. Put a warm towel on your legs or take a warm bath. Hair will be softer, follicles will raise. Exfoliation and hair removal will be far easier.
Is permanent hair removal possible?
Not permanent but luckily, there is a type of hair removal that allows for enjoying smooth skin for several months. I mean laser. The device emits light that damages hair bulbs and follicles. Effect? After a few sessions, your skin is hair-free, irritations vanish in no time. The laser treatment is most effective in thick and dark hair. I decided on the procedure and said goodbye to all razors, foams and creams. I only left a hair remover (just in case).
How to care for dry, brittle and damaged hair?
I used to have the same problem. A few years ago, my hair was extremely dry and over-processed, static after every brushing and frizzy on rainy days. My first step was throwing out strongly cleansing cosmetics and buying moisturising and repairing products. Hair masks and conditioners worked great for me. I did hair oil treatment once a week and gave up on daily blow-drying and straightening; now, I do it from time to time. I apply a special hair end serum. In summer, I reach out for cosmetics with SPF and put on a beautiful hat.
