YVES SAINT LAURENT COUTURE BROW MASCARA
I bought the brow-shaping mascara from YVES SAINT LAURENT some time ago, hoping for spectacular eyebrow makeup results. It didn’t impress me as much as the Nanobrow Shape Mascara, but its performance is still good – it shapes, lifts, and tames my eyebrows nicely. This brow mascara brush allows you to reach even small hairs and is soft and pleasant to the touch. It is suitable for both thin eyebrows that need more definition and thick eyebrows that only need to be properly emphasized to enjoy perfect-looking arches.
The shades of this eyebrow mascara blend well with the natural eyebrow color. I easily found the one that turned out to be just right.
This eyebrow-styling mascara does not wear off and does not leave a stiff finish. After applying it on my eyebrows, I noticed that they started to look healthier and gained a soft sheen.
It doesn’t work very well in terms of increasing the volume so you shouldn’t get your hopes up that your eyebrows will start to look fuller. Still, I think you can fill in the gaps with it, even the slightly larger ones.
After a full day, my eyebrows looked similar to after applying the brow mascara from YVES SAINT LAURENT.

LORD&BERRY MUST HAVE TINTED MASCARA
Another product that fell into my hands and I’m happy with. The eyebrow mascara from LORD&BERRY comes with a refined brush that lets me quickly separate my brow hairs and does it with great precision. This brow makeup product features a good formula and contains thickening nylon fibers – you can count on a gentle brow lift and a thicker brow look.
I liked all the available shades but I have some reservations about the consistency of the product itself. It is sticky and it is easy to get brow hairs stuck together. Only after a few attempts, I could finally tell how much mascara I should apply on my eyebrows for a natural and not overdrawn effect.
It’s the kind of brow mascara you have to learn how to operate, but I think it’s worth it nonetheless. I don’t know if it will work on sensitive skin, but in my opinion, it is suitable for thin eyebrows that need extra definition.

BENEFIT GIMME BROW+
I bought this brow mascara because of the many positive reviews. I wanted to see if it actually thickens the brows and adds extra volume. The effect is a little worse than I expected – the thickening properties are subtle, almost imperceptible. Perhaps on thicker eyebrows that don’t have as many gaps the results would be much better. I’m not sure about it though.
The consistency of the product itself is pretty good – after applying the product, the eyebrows seem more defined and not sticky. You also don’t have to worry about the mascara smudging or wearing off.
The product lasts on my eyebrows for up to 10-12 hours without having to do any touch-ups.

KIKO MILANO EYEBROW FIBERS COLORED MASCARA
I think I liked this eyebrow mascara the least out of all the ones tested. However, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have any advantages. What is certainly noteworthy is that it styles the brows quite well, giving them the desired shape. However, don’t expect it to fill in the gaps well or to deliver a thicker brow effect. The consistency of the product is flawless but the brush could be a bit better, as I have the impression that too much product settles on it and it is difficult to apply it evenly on the eyebrows.
I know that this brow mascara is available in many beauty stores (I’m not sure about Rossmann, Douglas should have it on offer).
Eyebrow mascara – how to use it?
Eyebrow mascara is a brow-styling product that is becoming increasingly popular among women. Undoubtedly, this is due to its easy application. It only takes a few brush strokes to apply the product.
Once you have the best eyebrow mascara, all you have to do is to apply it properly.
Here’s how to use brow mascara:
- Cleanse your brows with a face toner or micellar water.
- Start applying the mascara to your eyebrows with the brush. Apply the product evenly and thoroughly.
- Remember that there should be a little more mascara on the tail.
- Wait for the eyebrow mascara to set.
- If necessary, apply another coat if you want extra definition.
- Done!
