Best Mascara For Your Lashes? Check Out The Products I Tested!
Mascara has always been an essential for me. I could ditch the concealer or even foundation, but I had to have my lashes always defined. Unfortunately, many products disappointed me considerably. For this reason, I decided to find the best mascara for myself, which can also work for you!
Which mascara is the best in my opinion?
Beauty stores are brimming with endless mascara options. You can’t even imagine how many times I’ve experimented with them to find the best product that could meet my needs. However, it always ended in a huge disappointment.
So I decided to check which mascaras are recommended online and then test them. To give you a better insight, I will say that for me, the best mascara is one that:
- lengthens, thickens, and gives lashes a nice curl;
- makes them defined and aesthetically separated;
- lasts all day without the “panda effect.”
Of course, every manufacturer promises spectacular effects and above-average durability of its product However, having some experience, I know that these promises may not be kept in reality. For this reason, I tested all the products included in the list on my eyelashes!
Meet the best mascaras I recommend!
After checking all the reviews on the news, I bought several products that got the highest ratings. There were 8 of them! I tested each of them for 2 days. Then I selected 4 mascaras that I think deserve attention!
1. Nanolash Mascara
The first place could not be different. It unquestionably goes to Nanolash mascara.
Why am I so enthusiastic about it? Well:
- the silicone, perfectly shaped brush coats even the shortest lashes;
- contains 10 milliliters of product that can last for an exceptionally long time;
- the formula is safe, and the included extracts gently care for the lashes;
- gives the possibility to build up the effect.
What’s more, I wore the Nanolash mascara all day long and didn’t notice it smudging or flaking. The product performed well even on rainy days and did not create a “panda eyes effect”. It visibly lifted the lashes and gave them much more volume. You should also know that the Nanolash mascara is available in two versions:
- Nanolash Volume Up Mascara – a thickening mascara;
- Nanolash Length & Curl Mascara – a lengthening and curling mascara.
This allows each of you to choose a product tailored to your individual needs. That’s why, this mascara took the first place in my ranking.
2. Lashcode Mascara
Another product that boosted my confidence is Lashcode Mascara. It is a long-wear mascara with a unique smooth texture. Thanks to the silicone brush, the application didn’t cause me much trouble, and the smallest lashes were also coated by the product.
Lashcode Mascara separates lashes beautifully but also lengthens them from root to tip. I also didn’t notice that the mascara was flaky or smudged in any way although I’ll admit that I didn’t test it on a rainy day.
3. Maybelline Great Lash
The next place, in my view, goes to the Maybelline Great Lash mascara. This is a fairly popular mascara that can be found in most drugstores. I was pleased with the results I got with it. However, I have a few reservations.
First of all, the product started to wear off after a few hours, and the lashes, after applying a second coat, got a sticky finish. Compared to the mascara from Nanolash, this product seems a little worse.
4. Revlon Grow Luscious Bold Lacquer
Revlon Grow Luscious Bold Lacquer mascara is also a product worth mentioning. This is a relatively long-wear mascara that allowed me to make my lashes look longer. However, I was able to achieve a satisfactory effect only after applying several coats of the product.
Unfortunately, I also noticed that the mascara smudged a lot on my eyelids, which may be caused by its rather liquid consistency. The brush is definitely on the plus side though. With its refined shape, it allows you to evenly coat your lashes with mascara.
What can I say in conclusion?
At the end of the ranking, I want to say that all of you should pay great attention to which lash products you choose. The best of them ensure you can achieve spectacular results without overburdening your natural lashes.
For me, the Nanolash mascara is number 1. The lightweight and safe formula, as well as the great pigmentation and texture, made my lashes look exceptional all day long. The mascara is long-wear and available in two versions, which makes it stand out.
The other products are also not the worst, although compared to the Nanolash mascara, I noticed some downsides.
