How I Take Care of My Colour-Treated Hair? Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Diamond Color
Hi, girls!
I love colouring my hair! I do it every few months, add new hues, brighten, darken… Too bad my hair isn’t as happy with the changes as I am. After first several treatments, my hairdo got dry, dull and coarse. That’s why I made some changes in my hair care routine. I’d love to tell you about them.
Why does the right hair care matter to me? It’s simple. I don’t want my hairdo to look the way it did after the first colouring procedure. Damaged, over-processed and shine-less hair looks bad even when you colour it with the hottest hues. Besides, washing with wrong products can rinse the dye out or lead to losing the colour and shine. Not using proper cosmetics can also trigger splitting ends.
How I care for colour-treated hair?
I use a shampoo that thoroughly cleanses yet doesn’t make scalp dry. It must be designed for the shade I have now. The shampoo has moisturising and protective properties and delivers shine and softness. Since I started having my hair coloured, I haven’t been using anti-dandruff and strong purifying shampoos. I take care of my scalp in a different way, using herbal rinses and liquids.
I also enrich my colour-treated hair care with conditioners. My favourite ones are weightless, contain vitamins and moisturising, smoothing and shine-boosting substances. Apart from conditioners, I like to use masks. I choose the ones that have rich ingredients and fulfil lots of tasks. They aim at protecting the new colour and hair structure from dryness and damage.
My beauty bag houses more products for dyed hair. I always apply a heat protection cosmetic before blow-drying or straightening. After styling, I use a product delivering gloss and smoothness. Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Diamond Color is my favourite colour-treated hair care range.
