Wavy & Curly Hair Care – My Tried&Tested Hacks

Hi, girls!

Today, I’ll show you a few simple tricks for wavy and curly hair care. There will be no straightening or wearing odd updos. Instead, we are going to oil our hair, dry it with a cotton T-shirt, trim ends and do lots of other things.

Hair Oil Treatment

I guess all hairdressers and hair maniacs see eye to eye saying that oiling is the best hair care method. How is it done? You choose the right oil for your hair type and apply it to your hairdo. You can wash your hair before the treatment but don’t have to do it – it’s up to you. Leave the oil in for an hour or overnight. After oiling, you must wash scalp well and style hair as you like.

No Point in Straightening

You will never make wavy or curly hair perfectly straight unless you treat it to a very high temperature for a long time. Your hairdo might get straight but it will be extremely damaged at the same time. To make things worse, straightened curls and waves get frizzy and static quickly. What should you do? Get to like your hairstyle and define the curl. Blow dry with a diffuser and fix with oils, mists or hair sprays.

Dry & Brush with Appropriate Gadgets

Never comb curly and wavy hair when it’s dry. Use a wide-tooth comb and brush your hair when it’s damp-dry. Don’t use boar-bristle brushes because they can damage hair structure. Drying hair with a cotton T-shirt matters a lot. Forget about thick and rough towels; they trigger frizz and static.

Trim & Cut

U-shaped layering is the best cut for wavy and curly hair. Don’t go for straight cuts that intensify frizz and damage hair ends. Try to find a professional hairdresser who knows how to deal with wavy and curly hair to achieve desired volume and density.
